About the Shippers Resource Center...

While the Shippers Resource Center was founded in 1995, its roots go back more than 50 years. It began by helping corporations and business organizations help their members control their transportation costs.

Over the years shippers needs have changed and so has the Shippers Resource Center. But the drive to help our clients control transportation costs and become more efficient has not changed. To that end we have been pioneers in several areas, including freight bill auditing, computerized rating systems, shipping cooperatives and the use of intermodal transportation.

Today the Shippers Resource Center provides big and small shippers with expertise throughout the supply chain, an array of logistics management services and access to low cost shipping rates. Together with our affiliates we manage more than $50,000,000 in domestic and international transportation.

The Shippers Resource Center is based in the Minneapolis MN area, and has clients throughout the US. These include small and medium size shippers, as well as several Fortune 500 companies.
